Empathy is critical to tackling education-based and personal challenges. Empathy is more than standing in someone elses’ shoes – its about understanding their view of the world, their perceptions, their emotions and their real needs. This unique workshop is designed to increase your capacity for Empathy and confidence in Empathic communication. During the workshop you will - Explore the concept of Empathy Increase your understanding of the importance of Empathy Set the agenda by identifying the education-based challenges that are relevant to you. For example, reducing “behaviour challenges” among students or increasing engagement with whānau. Be coached and supported through techniques that create better relationships, better learning and better centres and schools, and; Experience a memorable day of learning and growth. This workshop is designed to help you solve complex problems through gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, your children/ students and your colleagues. During the workshop we use an approach that supports you to think and work differently and collaboratively – with Empathy as a foundation across the approach.
