Children who are aggressive and violent towards themselves and others challenge educators and family members. A key to helping children deal with anger and aggression – is understanding that children who learn to repress their anger will probably become violent, and those who learn to manage their anger will not. We also need to accept that conflict plays an important in children’s learning. This workshop is based on a book that Dean is currently co-authoring that focuses on understanding and supporting children who display aggressive and violent behaviour.
